To launch Rockstar’s new Press Play platform, we enlisted Grime superstar Stormzy for a one-of-a-kind interactive gig set across 5 worlds.

This was the first ever live performance on Spotify – an experience that allowed users to switch seamlessly at any point between 5 different Stormzys across 5 worlds spanning 21 different environments.

MADE USING UNREAL ENGINE AND MOTION CAPTION TECHNOLOGY

After recording Stormzy’s original performance, we meticulously recreated it move for move, angle for angle, movement for movement in motion capture.

Using that data, we built our virtual worlds in which avatar Stormzy performed in. The first-of-its-kind experience allowed users to switch seamlessly between all 5 worlds.
